Hey guys, hope you're all well, preparing for Christmas and feeling optimistic and festive! A few weeks ago we went to Igueste de San Andres village here in Santa Cruz, we planned a nice beach day but it turned to be cloudy, so we changed our mind and went to another beach where we had fantastic not very veggie lunch with fried goat cheese, avo & tomatoes and king prawns - was delicious and fresh!! The bar is at Las Gaviotas beach you can Google it or find it after Las Teresitas ;) 

We're having weird times right now - as of 'we' in general and 'we' Edu & me, from super busy to boringly relaxed days... We also plan on going to Madrid for a few days, but lets see.. Now you have to always consider the pandemic situation and therefore add 'COVID-permits' phrase to practically anything when it comes to moving around or planning whatsoever.

Hey guys! How's your weekend going? We've been in Tacoronte (Northern part of Tenerife) yesterday with Edu - a spontaneous decision that proved once again to be a good one. The less you plan something (unless buying a property or marrying, perhaps?))), the better outcome can be. Because you don't have expectations ;) Life would be SO much easier if we all haven't had them, eh?)

You can easily find this spot as Tacoronte' Natural pools, exit 17 from the busy TF-5, a bit of curvy, steep serpentine, - and you are in paradise <3 . 

Also when we came back from our beach walk to the parking, we met two amazing hippie guys, Katya and Vova, who were from Ukraine and Georgia (I mean, - what are the odds of it, right??!!)))) and who came to Tenerife from literally the very furtherest parts of the world (like Goa in India).

We talked while we gave them a lift to the bus terminal, and Edu and I we both realised how much we miss travelling and such nomadic lifestyle that represents Freedom at its best. They told us that they enjoy this way of living, they are happy to be constantly moving around, but that, unfortunately, they also got kicked out of the caves where they stayed, peacefully living by the beach and not doing ANY harm to anyone, - yet they had to be 'evicted'. Apparently, these people are more of a problem than large abandoned hotels / residential buildings on the Canarian coast, that are NEVER finished and that destroy MUCH more environment, than these poor guys... Really sad!. I wish them good luck and hope they've managed to get to their destination point safe and sound in that rainy evening. Maybe one day I'll be able to bring them to the south or help in some other way :)

Hey guys! Last weekend we went hiking in beautiful Parque Rural de Anaga with our friend Alena. Was amazing except quite a steep way back up and strong sun that burned our shoulders to the lovely baby-lobster red despite SPF 50 sunscreen... Nevertheless was absolutely worth it as that part of Tenerife is still - thanks G-d, - not too well discovered by tourists and the industry, like Masca, for example, - yet it has just as stunning views to offer to its passers.. Very rewarding is the beach in the middle of hiking, where you can have a picnic and swim (just don't forget to pick up rubbish after yourselves ;), if you're brave enough to jump into ocean's strong, crushing waves!

Bonjour everyone :) Promised pics from our beach and camping days after the lockdown was over in Tenerife. This is one of our fav beaches since it's not too touristy and crowded, yet it has showers, chiringuito (Canarian name for a small beach bar)) and the most beautiful sunsets... Sure in the end of this post you will be able to name this beach if you know Tenerife even just a little ;)

This was one of our most rewarding evenings outside the house after quarantine.. just look at this sunset (and my handsome boyfriend talking on the phone hahaha):

Went to this restaurant Bodegon Viana (map HERE ) and had some seriously amazing late lunch with wines (you can see why I'm so happy here)))

Came back to the hotel when it was late night, we slept like logs )))

And of coooourse, soon as we saw a new, just recently opened Starbucks (map HERE) , we had to get another cuppa coffee.. and another one =D

Hey guys! How was your weekend? Here it was nice, quiet and extremely HOTTT - summer's arrived in Tenerife.. at last =) dunno whether I'd prefer winter to be back for a day or not..))

We went down to Feria del libro at Parque Garcia Sanabria on Saturday, met friends and had a nice dinner at Taverna Tagoro (fantastic place, fast service, and the food there is always really tasty..!). Sunday early morning we went to the beach, had a 10k run in San Andres, then stayed at home the whole day / evening, - with this sudden heat caused by calima its absolutely imposible to be outside in the daytime and do any activities at all!!. 

Now we're gonna make some popcorn and watch a movie or two - tomorrow work day, we're shooting for a pharmaceutical company at our house - EXCITING!!! Hope you're having a nice start of the week as well xx
