Good Friday morning !!! Wow, what a summer it's been so far =) Madrid, Lisbon, Moraira/Calp (Alicante), Valencia, now in Tenerife planning Santa Pola trip in a few days, aaaand - still cannot believe it!.. - the US in October!!!! What a dream..

Went to Calpe the other {very windy} evening, had icecream and waffles, enjoyed the sunset and came back home..

Hello! We're back from Madrid since last week, and here're some snapshots from the trip! 

Found it on Airbnb (it's located in Calle Echegaray, 20). Then we went to El Rastro market to meet Edu's friends..

Had a few beers with them; walked around 12-14km according to iPhone app; were joined by more friends and had few more beers with them at Rastro; listened to & danced (me))) at a live concert by a Spanish band who played Radiohead and Black Keys hits; bought some books (encouraged Edu to buy one by the Russian classic Nickolay Gogol, translated into Spanish!); had food & more beers wherever possible)); visited an old train station and finally got home - exhausted and drunk, but happy after so much communication, locations visited and km's of walks around the beautiful city of Madrid. What a place, such great vibes and nicest people, lots of things to see, to do and places to go to... I miss citylife sometimes a lot <3 <3 

Now we're off to have dinner with Edu as he's away for work this week for a few days, so it's gonna be nice to spend some time together before he goes. Movies night with icecream afterwards, - hope your Monday is not just as stressful as ours!! Hehe, take care guys xoxoxo

Hey guys! Just a couple more of Fuerteventura pics and us this time, at the wild Playa de Cofete beach =) Missing this place a lot... Off to Madrid soon with Edu for a few days - really looking forward to it! We've booked a beautiful place through Airbnb right in the centre next to Museo del Prado, will take lots of photos as it's spring time now, and Madrid is looking specifically gorgeous.. Hope you're having a nice evening and weekend plans!

Today in Russia we celebrate / mourn the Great Victory's Day against nazi regime in Germany.. Every life counts but in general around 26 millions of Soviet citizens have lost their lives in the War, including 11 millions of Soviet soldiers... This was the harshest price of all allies against fascism, and, one way or another, we're still paying for it... Make love No war, and may piece force be forever greater than some bunch of stupid, ambitious politicians. X

Helloooo and long time no see eh!!? We're back from our Fuerteventura trip and it still feels like a small vacation continues as it's been quiet with work, so we're just enjoying Canarian spring, meeting friends, working out, going to the beach and spending quality time at home with our much missed cats <3

Then we had a hotel booked so, sadly, had to leave this place and drive back to reality and civilisation...

Then came back to hotel and found out that our car was broken(((( to the point of a complete immobility, so had to deal with insurance etc.. Thank G-d, the universe and Edu's smart policy (thumbs up to Mapfre, guys!! Impressive work, they've been really helpful) its already in Tenerife and fixed by now, so we can plan our next trip and further adventures, wohooo!!! No time for negativity.. only good, positive vibes! :)

And free drinks when it's 'all-inclusive, lol :) :) X

Edu's finally back from Lanzarote (see the previous post below), so we're gonna have a niiiice, relaxing, - before tomorrow's half-marathon, - time on the sofa with the cats and movies. He missed them so much, sure they've missed him too! Never can tell with cats though, heh..) X

Hey guys! Today is Friday and it means weekend (hopefully for the most of you anyway!), relax, having a nice time with your friends& family, going out or staying in without feeling guilty hehe, and so on ;) I've just came back from Lanzarote after spending time with Edu (when he was free of work), training for the upcoming half-marathon, recovering on the beach and eating super tasty healthy food which I didn't have to cook myself and wash dishes after, lol 

We just met at the airport and went straight for lunch (please excuse our silly faces as we're just happy to see each other after 4 days being apart!)); our room balcony and Playa Blanca' promenade on the right side of the image.

After that we went together with Alvaro to the volcano in La Santa - I will post about it soon!! - and had coffees and lunch afterwards.

The next day I had to fly back, which was sad cause of leaving Edu, but also happy cause I'd see these three lil ones (our holy trinity)):

Hello and Happy Sunday guys =) Here's the last part of our small Lanzarote adventure from this past January at Princess Yaiza hotel and around the island... This was the only morning we decided to go down to a beach cafe to have coffees and enjoy the beach a little, but the weather was cloudy at the beginning.. So we just kept taking pics with the gorgeous bouganiville (bougainvillea) all the time :) 

As I kept walking on the beach, I saw this man feeding seagulls - really big ones!! - with bread or smthg fishy, more likely :)

See that little roof on the left? When was there, I didn't notice it, but when editing photos I saw it and was quite surprised because that way of roof construction is more typical for Bermuda islands (I used to live & work there for three years before moving to Canaries). Then he had to go back to work &shoot while I decided to use the opportunity of having a car and go exploring the island :)

Drove up to Yaiza, Los Volcanes Natural Park and Mancha Blanca where turned right to the centre of the island and found this renovated museum in San Bartolomé, dedicated to the local agricultural history, called Casa Museo del Campesino (map here).
